When I try to extract MPEG2 file (convert mpeg-2 to divx), the progress bar stops at 0% level. Help?
Please, choose correct DivX settings. At the last step (after you click Extract button) DivX configuration window will pop up. You must choose High Definition Profile from the Certification Profile drop-down list. Optionally, if you want to minimize the file size, then try to change bitrate (click the button with calculator image to estimate the size of output divx file).

I tried to mix files but audio doesn't run. What's wrong?
Sometimes, MPEG Layer-3 codec doesn't support all listed parameters. So, at Step 2 in Vidmex Wizard you must select another audio parameters: 44Khz instead of 48Khz, or change bitrate (kbps). Also, try to download and to install the latest mp3 encoder from the Codecs section.

What can I do when I get a message that states a problem exists with my video or audio?
I have problems with video and audio after media processing in Vidmex Wizard. Help?
If you have some strange problems with audio/video processing, then you must disable conflicting/unstable DirectShow filters. Some DirectShow filters are installed by 3rd party video and audio programs, and can cause issues in Vidmex either when you try to merge, convert, extract or preview audio and video, or when you try to save a file. To prevent such issues, these filters must be turned off by doing the following:

1. Download FilterManager tool.
2. Unpack it, launch FilterManager.exe
3. Go to "DirectShow filters", select the conflicting filter and click "Unregister".

Here`s the list of unstable filters:
- DivX AntiFreeze Filter
- Kristal Studio
- InterVideo Audio Decoder (may cause the problem: audio is distorted or playing faster than normal)
- Morgan Multimedia Stream Switcher
- FFDshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder (only if unstable alpha version is installed)
- DirectShow Subtitle Filter
- BiCubic Resizer
- DeDynamic Audio Filter
- Morgan Stream Switcher
- Subtitle Mixer
- Subtitle Parser
- TFM Audio Filter
- RadLight Video DSP DirectShow Filter

How can I create two videos playing at the same time? The one in the left and the other on the right side of video clip?
You can achieve such an effect by using Logo function two times:
1. Find a background video (with audio, optionally).
2. Make a preparation of two logo videos that must be placed on the background video - just extract & resize any video files that you like.
3. Load a background video in Vidmex and select a fragment.
4. Click "choose logo" in Vidmex Wizard, and put the first logo video to the left part of the screen.
5. Extract video fragment (in the extracted video file there will be only one logo).
6. Clear playlist, and load previously extracted file. Add it to Vidmex Wizard.
7. Click "choose logo" again and put the second video logo to the right part of the screen.
8. Extract video fragment. Done!
