Do you want to export the song that is playing in movie while the end credits are rolling? How about extracting music from MTV shows? Vidmex makes it really easy to extract music from movies and videoclips. Simply click two buttons, follow the Wizard and get excellent MP3 audio track! Maybe you want to be able to extract audio clips from a larger audio file? For example, extract individual words, sounds, music fragments from audio files... Export sound clips? That's right, Vidmex can help you to perform all these tasks in minutes. Vidmex can also be used as a simple, but efficient CD Ripper. The program lets you save audio CD tracks to WAV or MP3 audio files with complete control over mp3 encoding including selectable bitrates, frequency and channels. By using uncompressed PCM WAV format, pure CD audio quality can be preserved after digital extraction process. Step 1 Click Open button. Find and open your video file (a movie, for example Contact.mpg). The file will be added into Playlist.
Click and drag the current slider bar to the right (find the starting point of soundtrack, where the end credits are rolling). Click the "Begin" button (to select the Start position of audio fragment). For example, 1:15:34.11
Next, click and drag the slider bar to the right again or wait several minutes. Click the "End" button (to select the End position of audio fragment). For example, 1:20:56.251. Vidmex Wizard will appear. | ||

Step 2
In Vidmex Wizard you can adjust with high precision the Start time and the End time. Click the Audio Fragment button.

Step 3
Enter filename, and choose path where the file must be saved. Select MP3 (MPEG Layer-3) format.
Next, accept codec settings, and click Extract.
Wait several minutes.
Great! We have extracted high-quality MP3 soundtrack from the movie "Contact". Step 1
Click Add File(s)... from the File menu in Playlist. Find and open your audio file (for example, Boney M - Daddy Cool (Long Mix).ogg). Select the file. Click the "Play" button.
Click and drag the current slider bar to the right (find the starting point of audioclip).

Step 2 In order to set the Start position, right-click on the first area of counter as show below. Playlist item will be updated with new time value of Start.
Set the End position, by right-clicking on the second area of counter. New time value of End will be updated. Hint: you can reset the value by double right-clicking on the appropriate area.

Step 3 Ok. We have marked audio fragment inside Playlist. Now we must extract this fragment from audio file. Click Audio Fragment from the Operation menu:
Enter filename, choose folder where your audio fragment must be saved. Select MP3 (MPEG Layer-3), click Next.
Finally, accept all default settings, and click Extract. Wait several seconds.
Very well, audio fragment is successfully extracted, and saved as MP3 file. Step 1
First of all, you must download and install the codec -- CDDA Reader (to be able to decode/play CD Digital Audio with Vidmex): Insert Audio CD into the CD-ROM. Click Add Directory... from the File menu. Select the drive of CD-ROM, for example D: and click OK. The list of audio tracks will appear in Playlist. Select any track you like:
In order to extract the selected audio track, click Audio Fragment from the Operation menu. Vidmex Wizard will appear.

Step 2 Enter filename, choose the folder where track must be saved. If you want to compress the audio track with certain minimal quality changes then select MP3 (MPEG Layer-3). If you want to preserve the original CD audio quality, then choose WAV. Click Next.
Finally, For MP3 -- just accept default settings and click Extract. For WAV -- choose PCM and click Extract.
Ok. Now audio track will be saved as a file. Wait several seconds...
Done! We have successfully ripped audio track #23 from CD. |
