Some of video clips may contain several independent events (or several songs). Therefore, sometimes it is useful to split such multi-video clip into several parts for the purpose of creating independent video files intended for subsequent playback in the future.
In our example we will split video clip The killer bean 2.avi into two parts.
First part: 00:00:00 - 00:03:40
Second part: 00:03:40 - 00:07:21
Step 1
Drag the slider bar with the left mouse button. Move it to the desired position: in the middle of the video clip (00:03:40). After that, press END button.
The fragment will be added into Vidmex Wizard.
Step 2
Next, press Video Fragment button. Choose filename for the first part of video clip. Select SLOW MODE.
After that, select audio compressor - MPEG Layer-3, WMA or Microsoft ADPCM.
And select video compressor: XviD is highly recommended.
Press Extract button and wait several minutes.
Step 3
Next, select the second part of video clip by using slider and BEGIN/END buttons. For example: 00:03:40 - 00:07:21.
Step 4
Again, press Video Fragment button, enter desired filename and choose SLOW MODE.
Press Next. Select favourite audio, video codecs and video parameters.
Wait several minutes.
